The stage lights up and a hush falls over the eagerly awaiting audience, their faces alight with anticipation – a common scene at any concert featuring the magnificent Sara Volpato. Her performances are not merely recitals, but joyous occasions where her profound talent and beautiful voice captivate all who have the pleasure of experiencing them.
Sara’s musical journey began in childhood, nurtured by piano lessons with Sonia Volpato and Erica Moro, followed by studies in transverse flute with Mara Marin and later at the “Evaristo Felice Dall’Abaco” Conservatory in Verona under Maestro Ezio Martello. It was there that a pivotal encounter with Maestro Mario Lanaro, a renowned choir conductor and composer, ignited her passion for opera singing, setting her on a path to vocal artistry.
Her dedication led her to formal opera studies at the Verona Conservatory with Maria Grazyna Sokolinska Noto in 2015. Since 2017, she has been under the invaluable guidance of acclaimed Italian soprano Carla Maria Izzo, and in 2023, she further refined her craft by enrolling in the advanced opera singing program at the same conservatory with Maestro Giancarlo Pasquetto.
