Pietro Bonfilio

The Italian pianist Pietro Bonfilio graduated at “Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi” in Milan and completed a Master’s degree in performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He studied with several renowned musicians as Lang Lang, Jean-Marc Luisada, Vincenzo Balzani, Victor Sangiorgio, Giuseppe Andaloro.

He has performed in the USA (Carnegie Hall in New York, NYU and Cornell University), Milan (Teatro alla Scala, Sala Verdi), Israel (Jerusalem Music Centre, Tel Aviv Conservatoire of Music), in various cities of England, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany (Berlin Ernst Reuter Saal), France, Turkey, Scotland (Royal Concert Hall of Glasgow), Romania (Athenaeum Bucharest), Mexico (Centro Cultural Bicentenario in Mexico City), Cambodia (Phnom Penh Piano Festival), Honk Kong (Youth Teather), Thailand (Bangkok Piano Festival, Sala Sudasiri Sobha).

He performed as a soloist with Luxembourg Philharmonia Orchestra, Mexico State Symphony Orchestra, Istanbul Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica Rossini Pesaro, Orchestra “Mihail Jora” Bacau, Grosseto Symphony Orchestra, Reggio Calabria “Francesco Cilea” Orchestra, Milli Reasurans Orchestra Istanbul.

He regularly plays with internationally acclaimed artists including Fatma Said, Mikhail Utkin, Ariana Kim.

In 2017 has been released a CD for the dutch label Brilliant Classics dedicated to the Russian composer Dimitri Kabalevsky and in 2019 has been released a CD dedicated to the Russian 19th century for the label Suonare Records.
