Cristiano de Agnoi

Born and raised in Marostica (VI), Italy, Cristiano de Agnoi began his musical journey with trumpet studies, graduating in 2013 from the “F.A. Bonporti” Conservatory in Trento. He continued his education at the “A. Steffani” Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto, where he earned his Second Level Academic Diploma in 2017 under the mentorship of Maestro Fabiano Maniero.

Cristiano is a versatile and passionate musician, constantly seeking new artistic experiences. A decisive moment in his artistic development came in 2017 with his encounter with the renowned soloist Otto Sauter, who introduced him to the baroque repertoire and inspired his specialization in the piccolo trumpet. That same year, he began participating in sessions of the World and European Brass Association, where he refined his skills with world-class trumpeters such as Sergei Nakariakov, Marc Geujon, Helmut Fuchs, John Wallace, Benny Wiame, Mary Elizabeth Bowden, Marc Inouye, and Andrey Ilkiv.

Cristiano has performed extensively across Italy and abroad, collaborating with orchestras including the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta, Orchestra SenzaSpine of Bologna, and Piccola Orchestra Veneta. His musical engagements span symphonic and chamber music, sacred repertoire in duo with organists, and solo appearances with ensembles focused on the baroque tradition.

Since 2017, he has expanded his orchestral activities with the “Crescere in Musica” Orchestra of Thiene, the “Marco Polo” Orchestra of Castelfranco Veneto, and the Orchestra Ritmico Sinfonica Italiana. That year also marked the beginning of his parallel career as a conductor, assuming the musical directorship of the Corpo Bandistico Novese, a position he continues to hold. He has since become an active and respected conductor, leading several wind bands, including the Società Filarmonica di Crespano, and serving as the artistic director of the “Nove in Musica” festival.

In 2023, he founded the Renaissance Brass Ensemble, promoting musical education and launching the Renaissance Brass Festival. His international engagements include membership in the Vienna Royal Artist Orchestra and Sinfonia Masovia, under the baton of Maestro Dariusz Mikulski. With these ensembles, he has toured extensively in China and Europe, serving as principal trumpet and soloist.

Cristiano de Agnoi continues to perform actively as a soloist, with a particular dedication to the baroque repertoire, interpreting the works of Vivaldi, Telemann, and Albinoni with stylistic refinement and expressive depth.
